Talking about Vincent Van Gogh, thought I reported on this already, here is a pic on gifting his birth house in Zundert, not far from where I live near the Netherlands! I didn't found any cut ears btw ... only felt the hidden listening ones 
They translated in dutch the tall poppy syndrome aka law of "Jante", to "maaiveldcultuur" meaning "mowing field culture".
I would also like to thank Jeff by this way, as I never read anyone capable of writing with such a dedication on the subtilities of the subtle, well except Don. In other words, explaining so good who and what is played upon us without asking ... and ofc Frode, which made the last collective gifting upgrade possible!
